This artwork tells a monumental tale of how we FORGET what is not popular anymore by standards of what is reported on the N.E.W.S but to tell the world that THEY ARE STILL STRUGGLING. This artwork is in dedication to the Tsunami victims of December 26, 2006 and Hurricane Katrina which occurred August 23, 2005 which was  the worst tragedy in the United States “EVER”. The “MIC” symbolizes that we each have the freedom to speak up and give our point of view because that’s what Dr. Martin Luther King did when he said the famous words “I Have a Dream” so in respect to the originator he himself gives the MIC a voice for you to (Pray too – reach out and touch and JUST BE HEARD) to what is affecting your LIFE, COMMUNITY, and FAMILY presently. We all have a voice and WE together can make a difference. The words to the world by JPALMER  “ THE CAMERA is now OFF and we are STILL STRUGGLING – TURN THEM BACK ON so we can receive another PUBLIC DONATION”.
