    Definition

    This artwork marks the first piece in the 2008 JPalmer Designs collection and it represents a vivid imagery of the struggle between good and evil.  Good and evil, while popularly viewed as polar opposites, are actually one in the same. This artwork is symbolic of this similarity between good and evil and exemplifies the struggle that an individual goes through between these two ideologies.  The blue section represents the forces of good while the orange depicts the forces of evil, both sides igniting a tug of war in this individual. The idea presented here is the continuance of the struggle between these two philosophies as the existence of evil is a necessity in order to validate the subsistence of good.  Only through one’s motivation is ones path ultimately determined as to which the dominant force is in one’s own life.  JPalmer presents many other differing angles that one is left to decipher when one views the artwork.
